Test runs along the Downtown Line 2 are progressing. The Gali Batu Depot obtained the temporary occupancy permit (TOP) towards the end of 2014, and the fleet of over 30 trains required for the operation of the DTL2 have been delivered. The Land Transport Authority is now heading the testing of trains along the mainline.
The depot is scheduled to be handed over to the operator SBS Transit towards the end of this year. Through testing with the existing operational DTL1 will take place then.
