How much do you know about Xilin station's design? What we've come across thus far suggests a yellow livery for the station with a polka-dotted inspired design theme. Exit 1, which is integrated with a cooling tower on top of the exit, will feature the most of the design with the ventilation louvres for the cooling tower.
Yellow will form a focal highlight at the station, with the colour being applied throughout the station from ground level to platform in different forms. At street level, the yellow forms a distinctive backdrop for the station exits, at subway level the yellow guides passengers through the station and at the concourse & platform, yellow connects the two levels together.
