DE1 - Gali Batu / Yew Tee East / Sungei Kadut Avenue station pre-construction

8 September 2024 - A view of the site of the future DE1 station.

Earlier last month, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced the locations of the two Downtown Line 2 Extension (DTL2e) stations. We look at the areas where the stations are to be located at before all the construction works commence and change the appearance of the sites.

The first intermediate station is located on a site along the current alignment of Sungei Kadut Avenue, currently flanked by rows of factories. Some of these sites have since been vacated and are pending demolition - works likely to be completed under contract 9177.
